A “Brand Standard” that is anything but standard

At W Hotels, design is all about taking risks and breaking boundaries.

W Hotels look to their environments for inspiration and then turn that inspiration on its head, shaking up what people think they know about the exotic locations – from the Mediterranean to the Maldives – from South Beach to Shanghai.

The iconic hotel brand was searching for a unique chair for its studios, meeting spaces, function rooms and banquets.

The Bend Chair from Ramler International was the successful culmination of that search. It’s beautiful simplicity of form hides an impressive raft of high-tech ergonomics and engineering.

The design is not only pure and deceptively simple, it is highly functional with properties specially designed for large scale hospitality installations where comfort, durability and ease of handling are equally critical.
